Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic has directly affected the millions of migrant workers in Gulf countries, mostly employed as temporary labour construction and allied sectors. region historically been most favoured destination for such jobs. However, crisis halted projects these countries drastic fall oil prices non-oil economies severely. This had an adverse effect on Indian they face threat unemployment, leading to their voluntary or forced return India.
